Mrs. Kim Beuerle, who facilitated Mini-Society entrepreneurial skills training for children during blue KIWI's 2007 summer camps, has been awarded a Virginia Education Association $500 grant. The grant funding will allow Beuerle to facilitate Mini-Society in her classroom. Mrs. Beuerle is the 2nd grade Unit Leader at Robert S. Payne Elementary, Lynchburg City Schools.

The Center for Economic Education at Lynchburg College provided Beuerle's Mini-Society curriculum certification. The curriculum was developed by Dr. Marilyn Kourilsky.
